The artist
Loreto Figeroa
Loreto Figeroa is a ceramic artist based in La Serena, northern Chile.
Influenced by movements seen in the natural world, her stoneware pieces embody a subtle fluidity - appearing as though their forms are gently shifting or swaying.
Having formerly trained as a painter, Figeroa applies a similar abstract approach to her ceramics practice and celebrates imperfection through rough surface textures and unexpected strokes of glaze.
Delivery
